A. Major Academic and Editorial Distinctions
- Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List – Single-Year Citation Impact (2025 and 2026). Included in the Stanford/Elsevier database of the world's top-cited scientists for single-year citation impact in two consecutive editions (2025 and 2026), based on citations received during 2024 and 2025, respectively. The database, compiled by Prof. John P. A. Ioannidis and collaborators at Stanford University and published through the Elsevier Data Repository, evaluates scientific citation impact using Scopus data and a composite indicator (c-score) accounting for citations, h-index, co-authorship, and author position.
- Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List – Career-Long Citation Impact (2026). Included in the career-long citation impact database in the 2026 edition of the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List. This recognition reflects cumulative scientific citation impact across the researcher's career, based on Scopus citation data through the end of 2025. The assessment uses a composite citation indicator (c-score), incorporating total citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted metrics, and author contributions, providing a standardized measure of long-term research influence across scientific disciplines.
- Springer Nature Editor of Distinction – Author Service Award (2025 and 2026). Received in two consecutive years in recognition of sustained editorial service as Associate Editor of Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment, acknowledging contributions to a constructive, fair, and author-focused peer-review process.
- Computation Best Paper Award (2024; awarded 2026). Selected by the journal's evaluation committee for the article "Multi-Directional Functionally Graded Sandwich Plates: Buckling and Free Vibration Analysis with Refined Plate Models under Various Boundary Conditions," published in Computation, 12(4), 65, 2024. The award recognizes publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence.
- Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence – Highly Commended Paper Award (2011). Awarded for the article "Neurocomputing Strategies for Solving Reliability-Robust Design Optimization Problems," published in Engineering Computations, 27(7), 819–840, 2010.
