Research
My research lies at the intersection of computational structural engineering, structural optimization, and artificial intelligence. I am particularly interested in developing and applying advanced computational methods to improve the analysis, design, performance, and reliability of engineering structures.
My work covers numerical simulation and finite element methods, earthquake engineering, structural optimization, reliability and uncertainty quantification, and the application of machine learning and AI to structural engineering problems. A growing focus of my research is the use of intelligent, data-driven and physics-informed methods to complement traditional engineering analysis and support more efficient and reliable design decisions.
